Review: Dylan at Chalk Brighton (In Picture)
I recently got to see Dylan at her sold-out show at the Chalk, Brighton, on the last weekend of her UK tour. She was supported by Siight, the Irish/Scottish duo. The show was full of young and eager fans. Due to the popularity of Dylan's, many had travelled for hours because their home time show had sold out too quickly.
I’ve got to chat with some of Dylan’s fans. They are next level, many stated that they’d been to 16 out of 18 shows in the uk, and others say things that they’d plan to travel around Europe to her on her Europe leg of the tour.
I’ve known of Dylan since early 2022, stumbling across her via Tiktok and her songs No Rome and Girl Of Your Dreams. Honestly, watching her perform just cemented the idea that she is quite possibly the most extraordinary person in the world. She truly embodies that rockstar vibe.
Dylan is releasing her new song at some point during the week of the 20th of February, “Every Heart But Mine” - I think probably the 21st of February and it’s a great song it will fit very nicely on your playlist next to Miley’s “Flowers” and Dove Cameron’s ”Girl Like Me”.
Siight’s next EP, “Stay Awhile”, is out on April 14th, 2023. I’m excited to see what this year brings for them. They are crazy talented and very comfortable on stage performing to sold-out shows. They really connected with the audience. Siight are going from strength to strength in the last year and only gaining traction.
